Italy

If I could visit one place in the world, I would definitely choose Italy.  I love their food.  My favorite foods are pizza, pasta, soup, and bread - they're all Italian!  Italy also has beautiful architecture and history.  I would love to see the colosseum.  I have a teacher that told me once they went to pizza in Italy, they never wanted to eat American pizza again because Italy is just that good.  I would do anything to go to Italy!

Tennis

In my free time, I play tennis.  I am on a high school team and I love it!  I just started playing a couple months ago and I plan to get better as time goes by.  There are a lot of strategies you need to play, but once you get the hang of it, it is so much fun!  I recommend that you try to play.  Sorry the pictures aren't the best quality.

Interior Design Blog

I read about a blog called CoCoCozy.  It is about interior design and I loved it!  This is probably one of my favorite blogs.  It shows the different types of styles in a house.  My favorite style is modern for sure.  My favorite thing Coco posted is the French Modern Kitchen.  It was "tres jolie"!  The table is very cool and the lights make it look really modern and nice!  Want to check out the blog? http://www.cococozy.com

Melted Crayon Pumpkin

It is getting close to halloween and I love DIY so I wanted to share with you what I did last halloween.  I saw on Pinterest where they get a white canvas board and melt crayons onto it to make a cool dripping look.  I wanted to make that, but on a pumpkin!  First, I bought a medium sized pumpkin and painted it white. You could just buy a white pumpkin, but that is more expensive.  I also bought a box of 64 crayons.  For my size pumpkin, I only needed about 40 crayons, but the bigger the pumpkin, the more crayons you will need.  I got 40 crayons and put them in rainbow order, then took the wrappers off every single one.  Get a hot glue gun and glue all the crayons in a line (remember: in color order!) When the glue dries, carefully turn the crayons into a circle around the stem of the pumpkin, if that makes sense.  Hot glue them to the pumpkin.  When the glue dries, get your hair-blow drier and blow it onto the pumpkin, then watch the magic! Have a happy halloween and enjoy your beautiful pumpkin!

Oreo Cake

Something else I love to do is cook. One day I was craving oreos, but not just plain oreos. I decided to make an oreo cake. This recipe I made all by myself.

First, I got a Betty Crocker cake mix and a box of oreos. I used a food cruncher to crunch about 5 of my oreos into tiny pieces. I made the cake batter and poured the 5 crunched oreos into the batter. After cooking it, I let it cool so the frosting wouldn't melt. While it cooled, I made the frosting. All I did was mix:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 cube softened butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/8 c. cold water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Once the cake was cooled, I spread the frosting on. Once the frosting was spread, I crunched 5 more oreos and sprinkled them on the top of the cake.

This is how the cake turned out (sorry the pictures aren't the best):

Photography

One thing I absolutely love to do is take pictures of flowers.  My brother gave me a camera about a year and a half ago, so whenever I am bored, I will go in my garden and take pictures of the flowers we have.  Below are some of my favorite photos I have taken so far.  Hope you like them!
